Zum zweiten mal in drei Jahren ist es Snel gelungen den renommierten 'European Carton Excellence Award' zu gewinnen. Diesmal wurden die Preise in Riga (Lettland) vergeben, wobei der Pop Up Cup von Fonkels in der Kategorie 'Fast/Convenience Foods' als Sieger erschien.

Aus dem Bericht der Jury: "This was considered to be so, so clever. A perfect way for cartonboard to present a soft drink and to solve the multi-layer over-packaging of current drinks' containers. Externally, the look and feel tells you that this is something new and ecological. The key-point is the film and carton can be easily separated for recycling."

Eine schöne Anerkennung für ein innovatives Konzept, dass sich sehr gut an die Aktualität mit Blick auf das Ziel der Förderung von umweltfreundlicher Verpackungen anschließt.
