For the second time in three years, Snel has succeeded in winning the prestigious 'European Carton Excellence Award'. This year, the outstanding designs and functional solutions were honoured in Riga (Latvia). The Pop Up Cup from brand owner Fonkels was rated best in the category Fast/Convenience Foods.

The jury's comments: "This was considered to be so, so clever. A perfect way for cartonboard to present a soft drink and to solve the multi-layer over-packaging of current drinks' containers. Externally, the look and feel tells you that this is something new and ecological. The key-point is the film and carton can be easily separated for recycling."

Nothing but positive comments from the jury for this innovative concept, which is completely in line with the pursuit for more sustainable packagings.
