New packaging design for Easy Life Fish Food voted one of Europe’s most innovative and ingenious packaging.

Three times before, Snel has competed for the European Carton Excellence Award, and three times with a positive result. The last entry in 2020 was awarded with the Innovation Award.

For the 2024 election, the new packaging for Easy Life Fish Food was registered; a cardboard packaging with a paper inner bag, replacing a plastic jar with lid.

The new packaging not only consists of a well recyclable mono-material, but is also only 50% of the weight. Made from FSC-certified and recycled cardboard, this results in a fully circular packaging. In addition, there are logistical and production advantages because the packaging is delivered flat and is square.

The packaging for Easy Life Fish Food has been shortlisted for the Public Award by the international jury. The public vote for this packaging is open until Friday 23 August 2024.
