New packaging design for Easy Life Fish Food voted one of Europe’s most innovative and ingenious packaging.

From June 27 to 29 we extensively celebrated Snel's 50th anniversary. On Friday, June 28, we opened our doors to all relations. Preceded by the General Members' Meeting of the Folding Cardboard Platform, Mike Turner, Director of the European Carton Makers Association, then extensively informed the guests about future changes in the field of European packaging legislation.

Our clients rely on the maximum quality and food safety of the packaging to be produced by Snel. This is guaranteed by the BRC certification, with the AA+ qualification showing that we take this very seriously, day by day. After an unannounced audit on November 27 and 28, it was confirmed once again that we meet the strict requirements in this area.

The Snel website has been thoroughly updated and is now completely in line again with modern times. It offers visitors a complete information about the services we provide.

We are pleased to share the news that we have received the AA+ rating after an unannounced BRC audit on 2 and 3 February. This is the highest possible BRC rating we could achieve and the official confirmation of what we always knew internally: that we have an unwavering dedication to maintaining the safety and quality of all the products that we allow to leave our factory. We will continue to raise the bar, and therefore also next year we choose to participate in the unannounced BRC audit, in order to be challenged at a higher level.

Cartamundi is world's largest manufacturer and distributor of playing cards and board games. For 15 years now, Cartamundi has been outsourcing diecutting, pick-and-place work and folding-gluing to Snel. Keywords are quality, reliability and flexibility

The installation of the Heidelberg Dymatrix 106/113 CSB Pro has further increased our productivity.

The first-time BRC audit for Snel was sixteen years ago. Also this year an audit has taken place and the result, once again, was very positive. We decided this time, not to inform the staff about the audit planning.

On October 7th the 2020 Carton E-vent took place. During this livestream event the winners of this years European Carton Excellence Award were announced. In total 25 entries were shortlisted.

Together with 24 sustainable innovations Snel qualified for Europe’s most prestigious award for cartonboard packaging.

Following the recent increase of folding carton gluing capacity, Snel now also invested in a Heidelberg Diana Packer.

For the fifteenth time in a row, Snel has been awarded the ISO-9001 and BRC certificate.
