Snel BV: 1974 – 2024

From June 27 to 29 we extensively celebrated Snel’s 50th anniversary.

On Friday, June 28, we opened our doors to all relations. Preceded by the General Members’ Meeting of the Folding Cardboard Platform, Mike Turner, Director of the European Carton Makers Association, then extensively informed the guests about future changes in the field of European packaging legislation.

After lunch there was a short moment where we reflected on 50 years of Snel and then the visitors took full advantage of the opportunity to take a look at the factory and get an impression of the world behind cardboard packaging.

In between there was a small quiz, where the knowledge of the visitors was tested on the basis of ‘hairnet on / hairnet off’. Merel Vermijs from Vermijs Kartonnage BV was declared the winner and this was celebrated with a (cardboard) trophy and lots of paper scraps.

The visitors made great use of the opportunity to network and returned home at the end of the day with a unique gift set, of course specially packed.
